Sensors
Sensors are the based off of a blueprint for what information is needed for the setup, how it is presented and reported.
Calibrations
Calibrations are based off the calibration factors defined for the sensor's blueprint. These are then used within the formula.
Each calibration factor will have a default value which is not dated. If there is a change with the monitoring, for example a sensor gets knocked, needs to be replaced with a new unit or requires a re-baseline, a dated calibration can be added which will apply that factor to all readings after that date. Multiple dated calibrations can be added as required.
Alarms
Alarms are set on individual parameters with an associated project alarm level. A comparison is also set to determine if the alarm is to trigger ABOVE or BELOW the set value.
Overdue alarms
Overdue alarms are set at a sensor level rather than for a specific sensor output, they allow users to be notified when a sensor has not received data for a given time period. The overdue period options are minutes, hours, or days. The alarm level used by default will be the Maintenance alarm level, however this can be changed to be any other project alarm level, see project alarm levels.
Data mapping
To provide a sensor with data, data mappings can be used to create a link between a sensor's input and the data coming from a configured data source, see data sources.
The output from another sensor can also be used as a data mapping such that one sensor's input is related to the output of another sensor.
Fields
Once a field is set up on a blueprint values can be added under the general information of the sensor.
Profiles
This tool allows for a quick way to set up a chain of sensors which you would like to show as an incremental or cumulative profile. This creates a custom Blueprint that can be edited after creation and a new sensor which gets data from existing sensors.
The sensors used for the profile must first be set up and have data connected to them. The sensors you are profiling must belong to the same Blueprint. Select "Add Profile" from the sensor's page to create a new profile.
First select the Blueprint that the sensors belong too and then the sensors you would like to use in the profile. The sensors are given depths, this could be the meters below ground level, height datum, chainage etc. The depth determines the distance between sensors on the charts.
