Manual Inclinometer Setup
DUX file modification
Insert the date time in the first column and the labels row. This needs to be done with each subsequent reading. Save this as a CSV.
Blueprint setup
Use and modify a Blueprint from the sensly library by searching 'manual inclinometer' or create your own. The Blueprint is the basis of each sensor in the profile chain, for a manual inclinometer a sensor is made for each depth.
For example if you have a 10m borehole with readings each 0.5m, there will be 20 sensors to set up.
Sensor creation
Create the individual sensors to be used in the profile, it is recommended to use the depth in the name to make the mapping of data in the data parser easier. Enter the calibrations from the first baseline reading, the import/export tool makes this simpler.
Dataparser configuration
Place the modified CSV file in the FTP server. Create a new dataparser to collect the file. Select Row as the file layout type, this will allow for the depth column to set as the sensor.
Profile creation
Using the profile tool select the original Blueprint, select sensors and their depths/distance between them. Select which parameters you want an incremental and/or cumulative profile of and whether it is vertical or horizontal.
The accumulation starts from the top row, so if you are setting up a vertical profile, the first row should be the deepest depth, if wanting to cumulate from the bottom of the casing.
This will create a new Blueprint with formulas and charts, then a sensor connecting the data from the original sensors with this profile sensor. The only parts that may need adjustment is the scaling of the charts and creating a dashboard.
