Omnidots
This guide walks you through connecting Omnidots devices to the platform using the Omnidots Honeycomb API.
1. Add the Omnidot blueprint
Create a new blueprint by filtering by manufacturer for Omnidots, then select the Omnidot SWARM Vibration blueprint.
2. Create an Omnidot sensor
Create a sensor and assign the SWARM Vibration blueprint to it.
3. Get an Omnidots API token
Connecting an API token from the Omnidots Honeycomb platform lets you choose which units to use when adding data sources.

- To create API tokens, go to honeycomb.omnidots.com/api/token_list.
4. Add a data connection
In the Sensly portal, add a data connection and choose Omnidots API token. Enter your token and run the connection test to confirm it works.
5. Add a data source
In data sources, add an Omnidots data source. Select the token you added and submit; the list of devices available to that token will load. Choose the device you want and save.
Set the schedule for when to collect data.
6. Map sensor inputs
Map the platform sensor inputs to the corresponding Omnidot parameters.
